Book ClubContact: Gail Benedict The UNNC Book Club meets monthly, either at someone’s home or at a restaurant, to discuss our monthly selection. Books are chosen through recommendations from club members. We read a diverse selection of books, both fiction and non-fiction. New members are ALWAYS welcome, even if you haven’t read the book we are discussing! It is a great way to meet new people, so come enjoy good food, drinks and conversation with the UNNC Book Club. PlaygroupContact: Jen Lutton or Bonnie Reid The UNNC Playgroup has found a new winter home at the FAITH FELLOWSHIP CHURCH on RTE 16. The UNNC Playgroup has been a very popular weekly activity. It meets on Wednesday mornings and is open to children ages birth to 5 and their families. The playgroup meets indoors from October to May, and meets at local playgrounds during the warmer months. The playtime can include parachute games, arts and craft activities, snack, and circle time with children's songs. The occasional field trip may be planned. We collect a small fee each week that we are in our Winter location to cover the cost of renting the church and any art supplies that may be needed. The cost is $2 for one child or $3 per family.
